Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what information Forex Market Clock ("we", "us") collects when you use this website (the "Site"), how we use it, and the choices you have. We keep data collection to a minimum: the clock itself works entirely in your browser.

1. Information stored on your device

Your clock preferences (selected time zone, visible markets and 12/24-hour format) and your cookie choice are saved in your browser's local storage, so the clock remembers them next time. This data stays on your device, is never sent to us, and you can clear it at any time through your browser settings.

2. Analytics

With your consent, we use Google Analytics 4 to understand how the Site is used, for example which pages are visited, roughly where visitors come from (country or city), and which device types are used. Google Analytics uses cookies and similar technologies. We enable IP anonymisation, and we do not use analytics to identify you personally. If you decline cookies, analytics cookies are not set. You can change your choice at any time using "Cookie settings" in the footer, or opt out with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

3. Advertising

We may show advertising served by Google AdSense and other third-party vendors to keep the Site free. If we do:

• Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your previous visits to this and other websites.
• Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visits to this Site and/or other sites on the Internet.
• You can opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings, or opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies at www.aboutads.info.

4. Cookies

Cookies are small text files stored by your browser. We only set non-essential cookies (analytics and, if enabled, advertising) after you give consent. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The clock will still work, but some preferences may not be saved.

5. Service providers

• Hosting: the Site is served by Cloudflare, which processes technical data such as IP addresses and request logs to deliver and protect the Site.
• Fonts: web fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address when your browser requests them.
• Email: if you email us, we receive your email address and message and use them only to reply to you.

6. Legal basis and retention

Where the GDPR or UK GDPR applies, we rely on your consent for analytics and advertising cookies, and on our legitimate interest in operating a secure website for hosting logs. Analytics data is kept for the retention period configured in Google Analytics (14 months by default). Emails are kept only as long as needed to handle your request.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live (including under the GDPR, UK GDPR and the California Consumer Privacy Act), you may have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data, to object to or restrict processing, to withdraw consent at any time, and to complain to your local data protection authority. 8. Children

The Site is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top shows when it was last revised. Significant changes will be highlighted on the Site.
